Our product range for flame-resistant PET monofilaments includes round-diameter monofilament as well as a variety of profiles, both natural color and spun-dyed. The main advantage of FireRetard® is its permanent flame resistance over the entire product lifetime. We achieve this by adding the flame retardant during extrusion, thus making a further impregnation unnecessary. The results are subjected to two burning behavior tests: UL 94 and LOI in line with EN ISO 4589-1.
Monofilaments made from TPE-E (Thermoplastic polyester elastomer) are as elastic as rubber and have good dynamic and mechanical properties. This allows a variety of applications in the textile sector (including furniture) and in the technical sector (automotive, filtration). We produce ElasTer® monofilaments in three degrees of hardness on the Shore D scale: 40 = N-Type, 55 = M-Type and 77 = Q-Type. Our product assortment includes round-diameter monofilament as well as a variety of profiles, both natural color and spun-dyed.
Floor covering designates a wide range of applications. Coated monofilaments for a hardwearing finish with a smooth look are used in public buildings. Perlon® monofilaments are also highly suited as the brush element in entrance matting. They can be used to produce different visual effects and characteristics. Our monofilaments are also used in the production of parquet panels.
Our process control during production guarantees high precision in diameter and profile. That’s why our monofilaments are ideally suited for use in solar shading systems with their exacting visual criteria. Our yarns are used in indoor as well as outdoor applications. Service life for outdoor applications can be increased by UV-stabilizing additives. Whether transparent, semitransparent or for blackout, the use of our monofilaments guarantees a consistently high quality level
