Perlon-Monofil GmbH is a world leader in the production of polyamide and polyester monofilaments which are marketed under the brand names Perlon, Atlas and Bayco. Because of their good weathering resistance, high mechanical strength and excellent elongation properties, the products are used in a variety of applications, especially in paper manufacture, shipping and agriculture.

Perlon-Monofil employs approximately 100 people and operates a world-scale manufacturing facility and technical center in Dormagen. Perlon-Monofil had sales worth around 30 million euros in 2013.
